  • - Create your own seed bank from your garden
  • - Explore seed saving techniques used for generations
  • - How to store your seed
  • - Introduction to seed networks and seed swaps
  • - Learn propagation techniques to use in your garden
  • - Enrich your diet with sprouted seeds, whole grains, nuts and legumes

Every summer our gardens produce thousands of seeds. So why do we buy more each spring? Participate in seed saving techniques and learn how to store seed and raise your own seedlings.

Understand the theory behind a variety of propagation techniques including cuttings, layering, division, budding and grafting. Use this theory to create more new plants in your garden or share/swap with others.

Learn how to grow organic sprouts – a “biogenic” food that is one of the most nutritious and healthy of all foods. If you can’t have your own outdoor veggie garden, you can at least grow some organic sprouts.

Come and learn about the ‘magic’ of plant reproduction.
